INDIA: GATE 2021 Computer Science Exam Analysis: The level of the exam was Moderate to Easy as compared to previous year.
The official notification for GATE 2021 (General Aptitude Test in Engineering) was released by IIT Bombay this year. The exams were scheduled to take place on 5th and 6th February and today; on 13th and 14th February. The exam is given by candidates seeking admission in post graduate programs in IITs/NITs, etc. The primary aim of candidates taking these exams is to secure a public sector job. The computer science exam is being conducted today in two slots, which are 9.30am to 12.30pm and 3pm to 6pm.

Below is the exam analysis for GATE Computer Science Exam Analysis: Slot 1
* The overall level of the exam was Moderate to Easy.
* The number of NAT questions were 14-16. Their overall level was Moderate.

* Engineering Maths and General Aptitude were Easy.

* Algorithms & Discrete mathematics subject carried the highest weightage.

* Newly added Multiple Select questions (MSQ) were 12 in number. The difficulty level was Moderate.

* Only 15-20% questions were conceptual in nature.
